Alignment and collaboration in the global dental supply chain

How we helped Alliage rethink the integration between its two largest global operations

Alliage is a global reference in the production and distribution of medical and dental equipment. The company, which is the result of a merger between the two largest Brazilian dental companies, is present in 150 countries and is a leader in Latin America in its sector. Seeking to increase efficiency in its global operation, Alliage sought WHF's partnership to conduct the strategic planning process between the Brazilian team and the Mexican operation.

To advance this challenge, we used design thinking as an approach to solving the complex challenges involved in integrating and distributing equipment between Brazil and Mexico. By drawing the Mexican customer's journey, from their first need to receiving their equipment installed in their office, we conducted a detailed diagnosis of the service chain, redesigning not only the efficiency of the process, but also the customer experience.

The result of this work culminated in a new digitalization strategy for the operation, as well as a new process matrix for the operation as a whole.
