Here at WHF, we are always looking for innovations that can change the way people live and work. It was with this mindset that we worked with entrepreneurs from one of the most traditional Brazilian productions to imagine the next wave of coffee consumption in Brazil and around the world.
Brazil is already a leading player on the world stage when it comes to the production of high-quality coffee. The central challenge of this project was to imagine what would be the next competitive frontier to be overcome in this industry. The disruption, according to our research, is precisely in the integration of the chain, eliminating intermediaries and bringing production closer to consumption. Within this vision, the entry of new platforms and devices that enable these experiences is a matter of time.
Through immersive research and thorough modeling, our team worked alongside coffee industry experts to create a concept prototype that would address an innovative business model: Direct trading of green coffee beans between products and enthusiastic coffee makers/consumers. In addition, the team worked on building feasibility concepts for a portable home roaster, which would be able to enable roasting of green coffee beans. home made of specialty coffees.
