Designing the experience of families in high-standard basic education

How we help Concept Schools rethink their relationship journey with families

Providing basic education services is in itself a major challenge from the point of view of experience. In addition to the high emotional value of the service for families, the experience takes place over long cycles and with long-term results for those involved. Providing a fluid, intuitive experience that is aligned with the school's educational approach is no simple matter - especially when the approach in question is cutting-edge education.

Escola Concept is a network of schools conceived and created by GRUPO SEB with the aim of bringing a cutting-edge approach to education. Based on projects, Concept focuses on developing key competencies and skills for students who want to shape the future. The school has a number of international partnerships and innovative methodologies and is focused on Brazil's high-income public, with units in São Paulo, Ribeirão Preto and Salvador.

The partnership with WHF began with a focus on designing the families' journey from the visit and enrollment process to the experience throughout the school year. WHF was responsible for conducting an experience study, not only designing the desired experience, but also developing prototypes and solutions for each stage of the Concept families' journey, such as service frameworks, physical artifacts and environments for the schools, as well as the digital experience.

Following this process, WHF worked to train internal teams and collaborate in the implementation of the solutions, working with a dedicated squad to support marketing, technology and family services. The work carried out contributed to Concept's growth and consolidation as one of the most important avant-garde schools in Latin America.
