Jujuba is a health tech that works to support, assist and raise awareness about autism. Jujuba's solution collaborates with families who need to adapt to the new dynamics of raising children who face the challenges brought about by the various gradations of the autism spectrum. In this journey, one of the key points of transformation in the trajectory of families is precisely the support network that is formed - or not - when they receive the diagnosis. The immense information gap and professionalized assistance are scarce resources for these families and the vast majority are unable to obtain the guidance they need in a qualified manner - perpetuating prejudices, stigmas and creating an even more challenging environment for people with autism.
With this in mind, WHF collaborated with Jujuba in structuring a new business model that would be able to amplify the environment of dialog and information on the subject. After a thorough co-creation process with the Jujuba team and families facing the challenges of autism, TEAbraço was born. The name alludes to the acronym by which autism is commonly known (Autism Spectrum Disorder - ASD). TEAbraço was launched as the world's largest content experience in this segment comprising the execution of a week-long festival bringing together trainings, courses, media presence, lectures and assistance sessions with national and international experts. In its last edition TEAbraço impacted +25.000 people directly, moving Ribeirão Preto (SP), as a reference city in the theme.
